Food & Beverage Assistant – Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Assistant to join our award‑winning 4‑star Castleknock Hotel in Dublin. You will work in a dynamic restaurant environment, delivering exceptional service to guests and supporting the overall F&B operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to guests in the Earth & Vine Restaurant and other outlets.
• Use the Micros POS system to take orders, process payments and manage tabs.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and attention to detail throughout service.
• Adapt quickly to schedule changes, early or late shifts, and weekend work as required.
• Collaborate with a diverse team, following instructions and supporting colleagues.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in a busy restaurant or hotel F&B setting.
• Over 18 years of age and flexible availability for early starts, late finishes and weekend shifts.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and adapt to last‑minute changes.

Required skills

• Experience with the Micros POS system.
