Food & Beverage Assistant (Part‑time)

About the role

The Victoria Hotel Galway is seeking a motivated Food & Beverage Assistant to join its vibrant team on a part‑time basis. The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and will work in a busy restaurant and bar environment, delivering excellent service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Take and serve food and drink orders accurately and promptly.
• Maintain high standards of service quality throughout each shift.
• Follow directions from the Food & Beverage Manager and support bar operations.
• Update stock levels and report any variances.
• Cover bar shifts, serving both drinks and food as required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a busy restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
• Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Team‑player who values collaboration and guest satisfaction.

Required skills

• Knowledge of bar service procedures.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
