Food & Beverage Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead the bar and restaurant operations at the four‑star Connemara Coast Hotel, located on the Wild Atlantic Way in Galway Bay. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will ensure seamless service, uphold standards, and mentor a large team in a vibrant hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
• Ensure completion of weekly and daily checklists and adherence to the standard operating procedures manual.
• Manage stock rotation and storage in line with HACCP requirements.
• Prepare service areas before each shift and maintain high presentation standards.
• Monitor staff punctuality, uniform compliance, and name‑badge usage according to the rota.
• Develop, train and coach bar staff to meet four‑star hotel standards.
• Drive financial performance by working towards set revenue and cost targets.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience supervising a large team in a busy food & beverage environment.
• Track record of delivering guest satisfaction, employee retention and engagement.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Self‑motivated, enthusiastic and able to work efficiently during peak periods.
• Ability to work towards financial goals and meet performance targets.

Required skills
