About the role

Join the lively fresh food department at SPAR Little Island, where you will create delicious sandwiches, salads and ready‑to‑eat meals for customers each day. This full‑time (or part‑time) position offers a friendly team environment in a busy convenience store.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of fresh food products, including hot and cold customer orders.
• Support store management with day‑to‑day department operations.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP and food‑safety procedures.
• Keep the fresh‑food area clean and well‑maintained in line with company policy.
• Deliver exceptional customer service with a smile, handling queries efficiently.
• Undertake any additional duties assigned by store management.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, hard‑working and able to thrive in a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Friendly and customer‑focused with a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HACCP and food‑safety standards.
• Experience with food preparation and handling.
