About the role

JJ Kavanagh is recruiting full-time coach drivers to drive on its main bus routes. The driver must drive to the highest standards in a safe and professional manner, following the set timetable and acting as the face of the company.

Key responsibilities

Drive the company's vehicles safely and professionally, in line with the set timetable
Use ticket machines and issue tickets to customers
Provide a high standard of customer service, giving information when required and behaving professionally and friendly at all times
Assist elderly people and children when needed

Required profile

Valid Category D driving licence
Valid CPC (driving qualification card)
Valid digital tachograph card
Clean penalty points
Good spoken and written English
Ability to stay calm under pressure and remain approachable and polite
