Full‑Time & Part‑Time Deli Assistant (Westside Café, Galway)

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic full‑time and part‑time Deli Assistants to join our Westside Café in Galway. You will work in a busy, family‑run environment, serving customers and preparing a range of food and beverage items.

Key responsibilities

• Serve customers quickly and courteously, taking orders and answering queries.
• Prepare food and beverages according to company standards.
• Maintain a clean and hygienic work area, following health‑and‑safety guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the till.
• Ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered efficiently.
• Work across a flexible schedule of 20‑35 hours per week, covering any day of the week.

Required profile

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar food‑service or retail role.
• Experience as a tiller/cashier is a distinct advantage.
• Barista experience is also beneficial.
• Availability to work weekdays beyond the summer period.
• Reliability and a positive attitude in a fast‑paced setting.
