FX Trade Management Specialist

About the role

The Trade Management Team supports investments through the trading process, acting as an intermediary between the trading desks and back-office functions. It monitors and oversees the trade matching and settlement process for all FX transactions, so that investment decisions are accurately and timely reflected in the NAV of the funds. The role is based in Dublin and is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with traders and escalate issues with brokers as required.
• Ensure FX instructions are sent to custodians and fund accounting within agreed cut-off times.
• Monitor the settlement status of all FX trades and investigate issues raised by brokers or custodians.
• Set up new funds in the trading system and reflect fund changes internally and on external platforms.
• Set up new approved brokers in the trading system.
• Work with Compliance, Risk, Client Services and other teams to resolve trade-flow queries.
• Maintain relationships with custodians, fund accountants and brokers, and take part in broker and third-party reviews.
• Investigate and resolve interest claims arising from trade-flow problems.
• Keep SSIs in databases and communicate them to counterparties.
• Take part in core projects locally and globally as required.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience and relevant qualifications.
• Previous experience in a trade matching and settlement role, with good knowledge of SWIFT and settlement workflows.
• Understanding of the FX trade lifecycle (spot, forward, NDF, FX option) and its impact on NAV calculations.
• Fluent English; French is an added benefit but not required.
• Organization, problem-solving, attention to detail, strong communication and flexibility under tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of FXALL and Alert is desirable.
