About the role
The General Maintenance Operative will be responsible for keeping a portfolio of GSCK/KVHA properties safe, secure and in good condition. This role involves routine building upkeep, cleaning of multi‑occupancy spaces and basic gardening to maintain attractive outdoor areas.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine building maintenance tasks such as minor repairs, inspections and servicing of facilities.
- Ensure all occupied properties are clean, tidy and meet health and safety standards.
- Carry out basic gardening duties, including lawn mowing, hedge trimming and litter removal.
- Report any significant defects or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Required profile
- Reliability and a strong commitment to maintaining safe environments.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks and outdoor work.
