General Operative

About the role

We are looking for a General Operative to join our manufacturing team at Tricel. The role involves supporting production across various areas of the factory, ensuring output meets quality standards and schedule commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Work flexibly in any manufacturing area to achieve defined production targets.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to safety, quality, GMP and lean/6S standards.
• Operate the company’s ERP system as required and complete all mandatory training.
• Report accidents, incidents or near‑misses and wear required protective equipment.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties that arise to support smooth factory operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or physically demanding environment is an advantage.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed production targets.
• Strong punctuality, time‑management and reliable attendance.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Understanding of Lean, 6S and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles.
