Graduate Mechanical & Electrical Coordinator

About the role

This graduate position supports the MEP team on major UK construction projects, giving you exposure to the full project lifecycle and a solid foundation for a career in mechanical and electrical coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the MEP Coordinator with design management and coordination activities.
• Manage interactions with consultants and MEP subcontractors.
• Track design information, technical submissions and programme dates.
• Review drawings and specifications to identify design risks or opportunities.
• Provide on‑site coordination support and monitor key M&E interfaces.
• Handle RFIs, DARs, sample approvals and related documentation.
• Attend technical and client meetings and report on MEP progress.
• Support commissioning, BREEAM evidence preparation, O&M manuals and handover documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
• Relevant placement within an MEP consultancy or contractor.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and meet deadlines.
• Full UK driving licence and eligibility to work in the UK or ROI.
