About the role
We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to join a fast‑growing, PE‑backed healthcare company. The role will be based in the Midlands for two days a week and will work closely with the CFO to shape finance processes, systems and integration of new subsidiaries.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day finance operations including accounts payable/receivable, credit control, management accounts, tax compliance and audits.
- Lead the selection, implementation and optimisation of finance systems.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with the HSE.
- Provide financial analysis, insights, modelling and support for M&A scenarios.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across multiple sites.
Required profile
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
- Minimum 3 years Irish accounting experience, including Irish tax compliance.
- Proven track record of delivering finance projects and integrating acquired businesses.
- Experience in healthcare, hospitality or similar sectors is preferred.
