Head of Capital Projects

About the role
The organisation is embarking on a three‑year capital investment programme covering new‑build care facilities, supported living, independent living and retirement‑village style housing. Reporting directly to the CEO and COO, the Head of Capital Projects will own the end‑to‑end delivery of this portfolio.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of concurrent projects from feasibility and planning through construction to handover.
- Appoint, lead and coordinate external design teams, contractors and advisors.
- Maintain full budget, programme and milestone accountability at executive level.
- Shape and implement the group’s long‑term capital development strategy.
Required profile
- Proven track record in development, construction and major project delivery.
- Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to work with deep in‑house clinical and regulatory expertise.
