Healthcare Assistant – Home Care Support

About the role

Connected Health is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our home‑care teams in Virginia and Ballyjamesduff. No prior experience is required – we provide accredited QQI training and continuous development to help you succeed in this rewarding position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
• Support individuals to maintain independence and a high quality of life.
• Follow care plans and document observations accurately.
• Travel to client homes using a personal vehicle, with mileage reimbursed.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years paid home‑care experience or willingness to obtain QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person.
• Full, valid driving licence and access to a car.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Flexibility to work alternative weekends and varied shifts.
