Hotel Night Porter

About the role

The Montenotte is seeking an experienced Night Porter to join its overnight team, providing exceptional service to guests between 23:00 and 07:00 in a historic luxury hotel setting.

Key responsibilities

• Providing overnight reception service, answering guest requests and telephone enquiries.
• Performing night cleaning of public areas and exterior spaces.
• Ensuring hotel security, conducting fire walks and adhering to health & safety protocols.
• Assisting with room service and complying with food handling regulations.
• Setting up meeting/function rooms as required and supporting other hotel departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a night porter or similar hospitality role.
• Good conversational English for effective guest communication.
• Professional appearance with high standards of personal grooming.
• Willingness to work night shifts (23:00‑07:00) and follow SOPs.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of hotel reception systems.
• Understanding of health & safety and security procedures.
