In‑Person EAP Affiliate Counsellor (Ireland)

About the role

Health Hero is seeking fully accredited counsellors to deliver in‑person Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) sessions across the Republic of Ireland. As an affiliate, you will join a network of freelance clinicians providing high‑quality, solution‑focused brief therapy to commercial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct in‑person counselling sessions with assigned clients.
• Perform brief case assessments and record details in the online portal.
• Manage risk cases with 24/7 support from the Health Hero team.
• Utilise smart triage technology to match client needs efficiently.
• Maintain accurate case documentation and adhere to agreed fee structures.

Required profile

• Fully accredited counsellor with a recognised diploma.
• Minimum 450 post‑qualification supervised client hours.
• Experience delivering solution‑focused brief therapy.
• Proven ability to provide in‑person clinical services.
• Willingness to work on a self‑employed, freelance basis.

Required skills

• IT proficiency for using the online case‑management portal.
