Internal Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Sales Executive to join a well‑established construction business. The role focuses on managing customer enquiries, preparing and following up on quotations, and turning opportunities into sales while providing excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer enquiries and produce accurate quotations.
• Follow up on opportunities, convert quotations into confirmed sales and process orders.
• Coordinate deliveries and ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying upsell and growth opportunities.
• Support project quotations, tender submissions and external sales activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records in the CRM system and deliver high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in internal sales, trade sales or sales administration.
• Knowledge of construction products, building materials or merchanting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially aware, organised and customer‑focused.
