International Employment Counsel – EMEA/APAC

About the role

Zoom is seeking an International Employment Counsel to provide strategic legal guidance on complex employment matters across EMEA and APAC. You will partner with HR and business leaders in a fast‑changing, collaborative environment to ensure compliance while supporting the company’s people‑first culture.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on employment law issues across multiple EMEA and APAC jurisdictions, including employee relations, terminations, and disputes.
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders to design compliant policies, processes, and training programs.
• Manage employment litigation strategy and coordinate with external counsel on complex cases.
• Support cross‑border projects such as reorganisations, M&A transactions, and Works Council engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with Legal, People Experience, and business stakeholders.
• Stay current on legal developments across EMEA and APAC and provide timely advice.

Required profile

• Fully qualified lawyer in a European jurisdiction with 3‑5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in international employment law across EMEA and APAC.
• Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, commercially‑aligned advice.
• Strong judgment handling sensitive employee‑relations matters.
• Experience working in‑house or on secondment with a global technology company.
