About the role

We are partnering with a well‑established law firm in Cork that is expanding its practice across several key areas – Real Estate, Privacy, Commercial Litigation, Banking and Employment law. The firm, with around 15 lawyers in Cork, offers a friendly, mid‑size culture while delivering the resources and client base of a larger national and international practice. Flexible hybrid or remote working arrangements are available, with the expectation of occasional office presence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality legal advice and representation in your specialist area (real estate, privacy, litigation, banking or employment).
• Develop and manage client relationships, including potential equity partnership for candidates with a strong client following.
• Collaborate with partners and other practice groups to deliver cross‑disciplinary solutions.
• Contribute to business development and firm growth in the Cork region.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and firm policies.

Required profile

• Irish or UK qualified solicitor.
• Relevant post‑qualification experience: 3+ years for real estate and privacy, 1‑3 years for commercial litigation, senior‑level experience for banking and employment law (partner level preferred for employment).
• Demonstrated ability to build and sustain a client base; equity partnership possible for strong performers.
• Willingness to work flexibly, with at least one day per week in the Cork office (or remote with discussion).
