IT Support Engineer – Go-live Phase (6‑month contract)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join a Dublin‑based client during a critical go‑live period. This six‑month contract role will focus on delivering seamless operational support, quickly resolving incidents, and ensuring stable IT services as the organisation scales.
Key responsibilities
- Provide on‑site and remote technical support throughout the go‑live phase.
- Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Windows environments, including Active Directory and Azure AD.
- Handle device provisioning, patching and software deployment using SCCM, Intune and Windows Autopatch.
- Act as the primary point of contact for incidents and service requests, ensuring minimal business impact.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of system configurations and incident resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
- Support business continuity and disaster‑recovery processes.
- Automate routine tasks through PowerShell scripting.
Required profile
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT support or operations.
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Microsoft certifications are a plus.
