About the role
We are seeking a highly organised Legal Secretary to support a busy legal practice in Limerick City. The role focuses on probate and conveyancing matters, providing essential administrative support to solicitors and ensuring smooth client interactions.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, organise and maintain legal documents, including wills, probate applications and conveyancing files.
- Assist solicitors with residential and commercial property transactions and estate administration.
- Manage calendars, deadlines and client appointments to maintain efficient workflow.
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, handling queries and scheduling meetings.
- Draft and proofread legal correspondence and contracts with high accuracy.
- Open and maintain client files, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Support property registrations and legal filings with relevant authorities.
- Provide general administrative assistance, including phone handling and post management.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, preferably with probate and conveyancing exposure.
- Strong understanding of legal procedures and documentation.
- Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail.
- Professional communication skills and discretion with confidential information.
