Logistics & Technical Support

About the role

This position coordinates and supports logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods worldwide, while also providing technical administration support for products and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate stock availability and rotation with internal teams.
• Schedule and track shipments to guarantee on‑time delivery in line with order requirements.
• Arrange collections and deliveries with transport providers and maintain accurate shipping documentation.
• Process and verify transport invoices and support sales and operations by aligning supply with demand.
• Manage sales contracts from a logistics perspective, including timing, credit checks and product availability.
• Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, vendors, transporters and customers to resolve logistical issues.
• Identify and address supply‑chain challenges proactively and propose cost‑saving improvements.
• Assist the Technical Manager with administrative tasks and participate in logistics and technical projects.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders on supply status, order progress or delivery delays.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies such as the Department of Agriculture to ensure compliance with veterinary and export procedures.

Required profile

• Experience in logistics is desirable but not essential.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organisational abilities and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.
• High interpersonal and communication skills, with flexibility to adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eligibility to work in Ireland and willingness to travel as required.
• Recognition of Prior Learning may be considered based on relevant experience.
