About the role
We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a specialist industrial manufacturing company in Shannon, Co. Clare. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career engineer to gain hands‑on experience in process improvement, equipment optimisation and lean manufacturing within a highly technical production environment.
Key responsibilities
- Support process improvements to increase productivity, quality and efficiency.
- Improve material yields and reduce scrap.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and production equipment.
- Analyse process data and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with new process introduction and capital projects.
- Collaborate closely with production, engineering and operations teams.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
- Approximately 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Hands‑on approach with interest in machinery, equipment and manufacturing processes.
