Manufacturing Process Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join a specialist industrial manufacturing company in Shannon, Co. Clare. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career engineer to gain hands‑on experience in process improvement, equipment optimisation and lean manufacturing within a highly technical production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support process improvements to increase productivity, quality and efficiency.
• Improve material yields and reduce scrap.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Analyse process data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with new process introduction and capital projects.
• Collaborate closely with production, engineering and operations teams.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
• Approximately 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
• Hands‑on approach with interest in machinery, equipment and manufacturing processes.
