Mechanical Engineer – Aerospace Systems

About the role

We are looking for a creative Mechanical Engineer to join our growing aerospace engineering team. You will work across the full product lifecycle, from concept and research through to manufacturing, testing, installation, and commissioning of high‑performance flight‑control and mechanical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all stages of product development, including design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing and implementation.
• Design mechanical systems and components that meet customer and project specifications.
• Produce concept sketches, detailed 2D/3D engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Conduct experiments, analyse results and recommend design improvements.
• Test and evaluate prototype and production designs, identifying technical challenges and developing practical solutions.
• Assess product performance, reliability and safety throughout development.
• Modify and optimise designs for functionality and manufacturability.
• Support project planning with budgeting, timelines and technical scope.
• Gather feedback from manufacturing, testing and end‑users to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to produce clear technical reports and documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo or similar).
• Experience using engineering simulation software such as ANSYS.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Excel and LabVIEW.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles (mechanics, kinematics, thermodynamics, materials science, manufacturing processes).
