Mechanical Project Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Project Engineer to lead the delivery of large‑scale mechanical works for data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial and commercial projects in Dublin. The role will be based on site and will involve coordinating design, procurement and commissioning activities to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead mechanical installation works for high‑profile projects.
• Coordinate design packages with architects, MEP engineers and contractors.
• Manage procurement of mechanical equipment and materials.
• Oversee commissioning and testing of mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Provide technical support to the project team and resolve on‑site issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience with a mechanical contractor.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale mechanical installations.
• Experience in data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or commercial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of design coordination, procurement and commissioning processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary project environment.
