Mobile Technician – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

CBRE GWS is seeking a Mobile Technician to join a high‑growth facilities contract. You will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance of mechanical and building services across a range of assets, ensuring reliability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and interpret the Building Management System (BMS) in relation to mechanical plant.
• Repair and replace pipework within water systems and maintain circulation pumps, actuators, AHUs, extracts, lighting and emergency lighting.
• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance tasks via the CMMS/CAFM ticketing system, meeting KPI and SLA targets.
• Develop preventative measures, maintain asset registers and historic records, and support minor works projects.
• Review third‑party risk assessments, issue permits, and attend client meetings as required.
• Perform weekly plant area walkthroughs, provide technical cover on bank holidays and work on shift/on‑call schedules.

Required profile

• National Craft Card holder.
• Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience (pipework repair/replacement).
• Availability for 8‑hour shifts, weekend overtime and on‑call rota (1 in 8).
• Ability to work on site and adapt to shift work outside normal hours.
