Mood Ice Cream Parlour Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Mood Ice Cream Parlour Assistant to join our part‑time team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality hot and cold products, ensuring every customer receives a memorable experience, and upholding the highest standards of hygiene and food safety.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve ice‑cream and other fresh food items with pride and care.
• Maintain clean and well‑stocked counter displays, self‑serve units and coffee area throughout the shift.
• Package, weigh, price and rotate pre‑packed foods, ensuring correct date rotation.
• Greet customers warmly, answer queries, handle complaints and share product knowledge.
• Operate all equipment safely and follow HACCP and food‑safety guidelines.
• Identify opportunities to improve the department and drive sales.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities and a genuine passion for food.
• Willingness to learn and follow brand values of being proud, energetic, imaginative and community‑based.

Required skills

• HACCP training or familiarity with HACCP food‑safety procedures.
