Night Porter – Hotel Front Office

About the role

The Heritage, a luxury hotel and award‑winning spa in the unspoilt Laois countryside, is seeking an experienced Night Porter to join its Front Office team. You will be the face of the hotel during the night, ensuring smooth operations, guest safety, and a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Assist guests with efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Perform night audits and complete start/end shift reports.
• Maintain a constant lobby presence and respond to guest requests.
• Secure the building, conduct fire walks, and manage the switchboard.
• Handle wake‑up calls, organise taxis, and drive the hotel vehicle when needed.
• Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a hotel environment.
• Flexibility to work night shifts and varied hours.
• Full, clean driving licence.
• Strong IT skills.
