Night Porter – Hotel Hospitality

About the role

The Talbot Hotel Wexford is seeking a reliable Night Porter to join its hospitality team on a part‑time basis. Reporting to the Night Manager, you will ensure smooth overnight operations, delivering high‑quality service to guests and residents.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and turn around meeting and function rooms for the next day.
• Assist at reception with late check‑ins, early check‑outs and general guest enquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas and perform routine security walks.
• Open and manage the car park, providing assistance to residents as needed.
• Support the Night Manager with any additional duties during the shift.

Required profile

• Strong command of written and spoken English.
• Reliable, well‑organized and proactive team player.
• Previous experience in a similar hotel role, preferably with reception or bar duties.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
