Offshore Project Manager

About the role

Mace is seeking an Offshore Project Manager to lead the delivery of offshore wind projects for a semi‑state organisation in Ireland. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from concept and feasibility through statutory planning, consent, and handover to detailed design and construction. You will work both from the office and on‑site in the South East of Ireland.

Key responsibilities

• Apply strong technical health & safety knowledge across the project portfolio.
• Maintain quality systems and develop end‑to‑end project plans.
• Provide senior leaders with accurate, timely project deliverables.
• Manage stakeholder communication, procurement, and delivery requirements.
• Oversee stakeholder engagement and governance reporting.
• Control budgets, risks, and ensure sustainable project outcomes.
• Drive collaboration, best practice, and high‑performing project teams.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with at least 4 years of infrastructure project experience.
• Strong understanding of power‑systems and offshore wind technology.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts and propose innovative solutions.
• Commercial, analytical and IT competence with excellent organisational skills.
• Professional membership and experience in stakeholder engagement are preferred.
