Operations Lead / Administration Team Leader

About the role

The Operations Lead/Administration Team Leader will support and manage operational matters within CHI Clinical Directorates. The role is responsible for developing and leading the clinical administrative support staff in a specific speciality or service group, guiding the team through change and ensuring efficient service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operational activities across clinical directorates.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of clinical administrative staff.
• Drive and manage change initiatives and project work.
• Produce and present management reports on performance and service metrics.
• Resolve conflicts and address problem‑solving needs within the team.
• Ensure effective use of hospital ICT systems and compliance with organisational policies.

Required profile

• QQI Level 6 qualification in management, supervisory management, or an equivalent.
• Minimum three years of management or supervisory experience in a clinical administrative setting.
• Proven experience leading teams in a complex healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated ability to produce management reports and handle conflict resolution.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using hospital ICT systems.
• Project and change management capabilities.
