Operator – PCB Production (Fixed-Term)

About the role

Moog is seeking an Operator to join its PCB production team in Carrigaline. The role supports normal production activities on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, working onsite in a performance‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assembly equipment and prepare components for manual PCB assembly.
• Run PCB cleaning and baking equipment, apply torque tools, adhesives and conformal coatings.
• Perform manual assembly of printed circuit boards and mechanical hardware following SOPs, drawings and process procedures.
• Set up equipment, carry out process‑related measurements and conduct routine machine maintenance.
• Inspect and rework PCBs and components according to established criteria.
• Document production activities and transact work orders using the ERP system.
• Adhere to safety, anti‑static, housekeeping and personal tool‑maintenance requirements.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in electronics assembly or a similar production environment.
• Strong commitment to quality and production targets.
• Detail‑oriented with good problem‑solving and time‑management abilities.
• Positive, flexible attitude and effective interpersonal skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IPC 7711, IPC 7721 and IPC J‑Standard.
• Proficiency with torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
• Experience applying adhesives and conformal coatings.
• Ability to use an ERP system for work‑order processing.
