About the role

Children’s Health Ireland is seeking a Registrar in Ophthalmology to begin on Monday, 13th July 2026. This position offers the chance to work within Ireland’s leading specialist children’s hospital network, gaining hands‑on experience alongside expert multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ophthalmology care to paediatric patients across CHI sites as required.
• Participate in 6‑month and 12‑month rotation contracts to broaden clinical expertise.
• Collaborate with senior consultants and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality care.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor ready to advance a paediatric ophthalmology career.
• Willingness to work across any CHI site under the terms of the contract.
• Commitment to the closing date of 21st June 2026 for application submission.
