P2 Intrinsic Reliability Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a P2 Intrinsic Reliability Engineer based in its Limerick site (ADLK). The Intrinsic Reliability (iRel) Group investigates the intrinsic reliability of devices, circuits and sensors so that products and processes remain robust throughout their lifetime. The group works across Limerick and San Jose, and the successful candidate will live in Limerick.

Key responsibilities

• Characterize novel technologies such as electrochemical biosensors and magnetoresistive sensors through device reliability testing.
• Engage early in new technology developments to understand technical risks for device design and manufacturing, as well as customer expectations.
• De-risk novel electrochemical and semiconductor devices using industry-standard reliability testing, plus bespoke stress tests and lifetime acceleration techniques.
• Develop statistical lifetime models to evaluate technology robustness.
• Work with failure analysis and process/product development teams to find the root cause of failures.
• Attend industry reliability conferences and adopt state-of-the-art best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, physics, materials science or a related field; a master's degree or relevant early-career experience is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and switch between priorities.
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to perform well independently and as part of a team.

Required skills
