Part-time Ice Cream Parlour Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Part‑time Ice Cream Parlour Assistant to join our Mood Ice Cream team. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality hot and cold products, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment, and delivering an exceptional experience to every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and serve ice‑cream and other hot or cold menu items following company recipes.
• Maintain hygiene and food‑safety standards at all times, adhering to HACCP guidelines.
• Keep the service counter, self‑serve units and coffee area tidy and well‑stocked.
• Package, weigh, price and rotate pre‑packed foods, ensuring proper product rotation.
• Greet customers warmly, answer queries, handle complaints professionally and gather feedback.
• Operate all equipment safely and report any issues.
• Support promotional activities by tasting new products and sharing recommendations.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced team environment.
• Strong multitasking abilities and a passion for food service.
• Previous customer‑service experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• HACCP knowledge or training (beneficial but not mandatory).
