Partnerships & Communications Associate – Public Health NGO

About the role

We are seeking a Partnerships & Communications Associate to enhance our public health NGO’s external profile, forge strategic partnerships, and amplify the impact of our research and policy work. This role blends stakeholder engagement, digital communications, and public affairs to drive social impact.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships across government, civil society, academia, and the private sector, including fundraising initiatives.
• Promote research and policy outputs through media outreach, digital channels, and stakeholder engagement.
• Draft press releases, media statements, newsletters, and other communication materials.
• Manage social media platforms, create engaging digital content, and support website and newsletter redesign.
• Coordinate events such as research launches, workshops, and public discussions.
• Maintain organisational records in Salesforce and assist with impact and annual reporting.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in communications, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, or fundraising.
• Knowledge of Irish public policy and the political landscape.
• Strong organisational and relationship‑building skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
• Genuine interest in public health and evidence‑based policy.

Required skills

• Salesforce (or similar CRM) proficiency.
