About the role
Moog is seeking a PCB Assembly Operator to support production activities at its Carrigaline facility. The role involves operating assembly equipment, preparing components, and ensuring high‑quality PCB manufacturing under the guidance of the PCB Production Supervisor.
Key responsibilities
- Operate assembly, cleaning, and baking equipment to complete specified PCB tasks.
- Prepare components for manual assembly and apply adhesives or conformal coatings.
- Use torque tools and follow assembly drawings, SOPs, and IPC standards.
- Perform manual assembly of PCBs and mechanical hardware, including prototype work under engineering control.
- Set up equipment, carry out process measurements, and conduct routine machine maintenance.
- Inspect, rework, and document PCB assemblies according to established criteria.
- Maintain production documentation and transact work orders using the ERP system.
- Observe anti‑static, safety, and housekeeping requirements.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of experience in electronic or PCB assembly.
- Strong commitment to quality and production targets.
- Detail‑oriented with good problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
- Positive, flexible attitude and ability to work well with diverse teams.
Required skills
- Knowledge of IPC‑7711, IPC‑7721, and IPC J‑Standard.
- Proficiency with torque tools and PCB cleaning/baking equipment.
- Experience using an ERP system for work order processing.
