Post Primary Music Teacher (2026/27)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Post Primary Music Teacher to join St. Paul’s Community College in Waterford for the 2026/27 academic year. The role is part‑time (22 hours per week) on a pro‑rata basis and involves delivering the music curriculum to secondary students.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess music lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Provide learning support and guidance to students as required.
• Uphold the Teaching Council’s Code of Professional Conduct for Teachers.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Teaching Council.
• Experience teaching music at post‑primary level is desirable.
