About the role
The International Energy Research Centre (IERC) at Tyndall National Institute is seeking a Post‑Doctoral Researcher in Electrical Engineering with a specialisation in Power Electronics. The role will support the delivery of IERC projects and contribute to new funding proposals while working closely with business partners.
Key responsibilities
- Support the delivery of IERC research projects in power electronics and intelligent grid technologies.
- Contribute to bid and proposal activities for new research funding.
- Engage in internal and external activities, including collaboration with IERC business partners.
Required profile
- PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power Electronics.
- Excellent technical, business, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for multidisciplinary research in energy and ambition to develop independent research.
