Process Engineer

About the role

As a Process Engineer at GE HealthCare you will be responsible for optimizing and sustaining manufacturing processes that deliver life‑changing medical technologies. You will own day‑to‑day process performance, drive continuous‑improvement projects and work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure safety, quality and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Act as system owner for selected production equipment, applying asset‑management techniques such as criticality assessments, condition‑based monitoring and lifecycle planning.
• Maintain equipment calibration, preventive‑maintenance and reliability programs while monitoring key performance indicators (e.g., OEE) to identify trends.
• Troubleshoot process issues in partnership with Maintenance, Quality and Operations, and lead equipment‑development initiatives.
• Manage small‑ to medium‑scale capital projects from concept through FAT/SAT/IOQ validation, coordinating contractors and vendors.
• Lead CAPA investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory and safety requirements.
• Develop and update SOPs, reliability procedures and change‑control documentation, acting as a Safety Champion.
• Mentor maintenance and utilities technicians and collaborate across functions to support site growth.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in manufacturing processes, preferably in medical‑device or high‑tech environments.
• Proven ability to manage equipment reliability and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven mindset.
• Effective communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary groups.
