Production Planner

About the role

Amcor Flexibles in Sligo is looking for an experienced Production Planner to balance customer demand with plant capacity and ensure timely delivery of highly regulated flexible packaging products. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end planning and scheduling of the manufacturing process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer orders and plant capacity.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material availability to avoid production delays.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, quality, and logistics teams to resolve bottlenecks.
• Analyse demand forecasts and adjust plans to meet changing market requirements.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for flexible packaging.

Required profile

• Proven experience in production planning or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
