Program Lead, e-Invoicing

About the role

The Accounting Centre of Excellence at Adobe is seeking a Program Lead to own the global e‑Compliance agenda. This senior position will drive the execution of e‑invoicing, e‑reporting, e‑audit and regulatory readiness initiatives, ensuring a scalable operating model for current and future tax mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain the global e‑Compliance program, including roadmap creation and monitoring of new regulatory mandates.
• Lead cross‑functional working groups across Accounting, Indirect Tax, AP, AR, Technology, Procurement, Legal, Revenue Ops and external advisors.
• Manage country implementation plans, track vendor budgets, contracts and risk timelines.
• Translate tax rules into clear technical and functional requirements for developers and accountants.
• Define testing strategy, create UAT scenarios, process flow diagrams and oversee hyper‑care and operational support post‑launch.
• Coordinate regulatory advisor partnerships and drive SAP S/4HANA architecture evaluation, integration patterns and data flow design.

Required profile

• Strong experience in indirect tax, VAT or e‑invoicing regulations.
• Proven project or program management experience with budgets and timelines.
• Ability to interpret regulations and convey requirements to technical and finance teams.
• Comfortable working with external advisors, vendors and senior executives.
