Project Architect

About the role

The Project Architect will lead the design, coordination, and delivery of large‑scale healthcare projects, overseeing all RIAI work stages from concept through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate design documentation and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Liaise daily with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities.
• Support the project from planning approval through to construction completion.
• Guarantee compliance with Irish building regulations, planning procedures, and programme requirements.
• Deliver high‑quality outcomes together with a multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Architect, preferably on healthcare or similarly technical projects.
• Registered architect with proven experience across all RIAI work stages.
• Strong knowledge of Irish Building Regulations, planning procedures, and technical detailing.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex multidisciplinary teams and communicate with all stakeholders.
• Experience with site inspections during the construction phase is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit.
• Experience with BIM workflows.
• In‑depth understanding of Irish Building Regulations.
• Knowledge of planning procedures.
• Technical detailing expertise.
