Project Director – Building Envelope & Façade

About the role

An exciting senior leadership opportunity to direct large‑scale building envelope and façade projects across Ireland and the UK. The Project Director will ensure safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery while driving quality, profitability and strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple construction projects, guaranteeing safety, schedule, budget and quality targets.
• Mentor Contracts Managers and Site Management teams.
• Oversee financial performance, margins, cash‑flow forecasts and commercial reporting.
• Develop and monitor KPI frameworks for health & safety, quality, programme adherence and commercial outcomes.
• Manage project planning in partnership with Design and Operations.
• Negotiate with main contractors on commercial and contractual matters, including final accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Support tendering, pre‑construction activities and strategic business planning.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related field (preferred).
• Formal Project Management training advantageous.
• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in construction, manufacturing or related sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑value, complex projects.
