Project Engineer – Mechanical

About the role
Join AECOM’s Dublin office as a Project Engineer‑Mechanical, supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects across civil, structural, mechanical and electrical disciplines. You will help plan, coordinate and manage construction quality assurance, quality control and supervision activities, ensuring projects meet safety, schedule and cost targets.
Key responsibilities
- Execute tasks assigned by the Project Manager and Head of Construction.
- Maintain an on‑site presence to monitor progress and oversee construction activities.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Promote a positive safety culture and attend safety leadership meetings.
- Act as Site Project Manager under the Contracting Entity’s Airport Direction D‑O Construction Projects, completing required training.
- Perform additional duties as defined by the Airport Directions or Safety Management System.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years experience delivering major mechanical and building infrastructure projects, preferably in the aviation sector.
- Proven experience on airport construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction QA/QC processes and safety standards.
