Project Manager – Building Automation & HVAC

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of building automation and HVAC projects for a leading provider in Dublin. You will be responsible for overseeing design reviews, planning, coordination, client engagement, and health & safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain regular communication with stakeholders and the Contracts Manager, providing weekly status updates and escalating risks.
• Lead post‑handover design reviews, close‑out actions, and capture lessons learned.
• Develop and maintain detailed project programmes covering design, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
• Create and manage procurement schedules, identifying long‑lead items and commercial risks.
• Produce comprehensive project documentation in line with company standards.
• Track project costs against budget, report variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Plan and oversee commissioning, ensuring smooth handover to the client.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs, external regulations, quality, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate issue resolution, vendor performance, and technical queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Solid organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
