Project Manager – Healthcare (Galway)

About the role

Quinn Downes Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a healthcare mechanical services project at Merlin Park in Galway. You will be responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver the project in line with contract requirements, schedule, quality standards and construction regulations.
• Maintain the site office and stores, coordinate mechanical services and builder drawings, and issue bi‑weekly P&T HILTI reports.
• Manage material orders, track deliveries, and liaise with suppliers and the procurement team.
• Oversee sub‑contractors and on‑site staff, ensuring safety, quality and proper installation of mechanical services.
• Support Project Engineers with quality‑assured documentation and attend site and white‑board meetings.
• Assist the Contracts Manager in creating the programme of works and supervise commissioning, testing and project close‑down activities.

Required profile

• Previous project management experience on HVAC installations, preferably within a healthcare environment.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to motivate teams and meet tight deadlines.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and performance optimisation.
