Project Manager

About the role

Thermo Systems is seeking a remote Project Manager to lead the delivery of automation and control systems integration projects across energy, life sciences, and mission‑critical markets. You will manage projects from early planning through commissioning and closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, budget, and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Lead assigned projects through all defined phases, from execution start to commissioning and closeout.
• Develop and manage execution plans, schedules, and budgets in line with PMO standards.
• Serve as the primary customer interface and coordinate cross‑functional teams including engineering, procurement, fabrication, software, and field services.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and change requests.
• Provide accurate project reporting using standardized PMO tools.
• Coordinate daily subcontractor and trade partner activities on site, ensuring alignment with drawings and specifications.
• Support installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance activities.
• Promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability on the field.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering projects using a structured stage‑gate delivery model.
• Background in construction‑driven environments, preferably with hyperscale data center projects.
• Strong customer‑facing skills and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent risk and change management capabilities.
