Project Manager – Large Scale Civil Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a large‑scale civil infrastructure programme in East Cork. The role involves overseeing all phases of construction, from bulk earthworks to final site finishes, while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline programmes using Microsoft Project and provide regular updates.
• Manage day‑to‑day site activities, including bulk earthworks, cast‑in‑situ concrete, precast installations, building works, pipe‑laying and finishes.
• Coordinate with clients, suppliers and subcontractors on financial negotiations and final account agreements.
• Ensure compliance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Construction) Regulations 2013.
• Identify and resolve issues promptly, using initiative and problem‑solving skills.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar construction project management role.
• Level 8 Honours Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
• Relevant certification in Managing Safely for Construction Managers is preferred.
• Full driving licence.
