Project Manager – Warmer Homes Scheme

About the role

The Project Manager will lead the delivery of the Warmer Homes Scheme (SEAI) across Ireland, overseeing home retrofit projects from inception to hand‑over. This hands‑on leadership position ensures projects meet the highest standards of quality, safety, compliance and homeowner satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance and apply robust project management systems throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define clear scopes of work, allocate resources and act as the main liaison between management, contractors, SEAI representatives, surveyors and inspectors.
• Supervise contractors installing home‑upgrade measures, ensuring compliance with SEAI QADP guidelines, building regulations and company standards.
• Conduct on‑site pre‑ and post‑installation quality inspections and produce comprehensive QA reports.
• Identify, analyse and resolve snags, defects or non‑compliance issues, promoting root‑cause analysis and continuous improvement.
• Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, findings and corrective actions, and report progress of multiple projects accurately.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, managing expectations and ensuring a positive experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction or retrofit projects, preferably within the residential sector.
• Familiarity with SEAI Warmer Homes Scheme requirements and Irish building regulations.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to coordinate contractors, surveyors and regulatory bodies.
• Ability to lead teams, drive continuous improvement and uphold a culture of safety and quality.
