Public Areas Cleaner – Hotel

About the role

The Public Areas Cleaner ensures that all public spaces within the hotel are consistently clean, tidy, and welcoming for guests. Working as part of the Accommodation Team, you will interact with guests in a friendly manner while maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Follow and implement Sheraton Brand Standards across all public areas.
• Perform routine cleaning of corridors, lifts, stairwells, and guest bathrooms.
• Vacuum rooms, corridors, and public zones; replenish towels and amenities according to company guidelines.
• Carry out deep‑cleaning tasks on a regular schedule.
• Dispose of waste in line with company procedures and manage lost‑property processes.
• Inspect public areas and toilets, taking corrective action when needed.
• Sign‑off on completed duties and ensure all safety protocols are observed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and support bedroom cleaning when required.

Required profile

• Flexible and able to work morning, evening, and weekend shifts (approximately 35 hours per week).
• Warm, courteous, and customer‑focused with strong interpersonal skills.
• Team‑player who can multitask and maintain attention to detail.
• Professional appearance and commitment to high service standards.
